| Prof. Aydoğan ÖZDEMİRIEEE Senior Member Kadir Has University, Türkiye Aydogan Ozdemir (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Istanbul, Türkiye, in 1980, 1982, and 1990, respectively. He has more than 40 years of experience with ITU. He is currently a full Professor and R&D Director with Kadir Has University, Istanbul. He has authored or coauthored more than 200 technical papers and conducted several research activities. His research interests include electric power systems and high-voltage engineering, emphasizing asset management, reliability analysis, and intelligent method applications in power system modeling, simulation, analysis and control, smart grids, and building automation systems. He is a Member of the National Chamber of Turkish Electrical Engineering and a Senior Member of IEEE PES. |
| Prof. Mohammad Jafar KermaniAdjunct Research Fellow of Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research, Germany Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran Mohammad Jafar Kermani is a Professor of Thermal-Fluids in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran. He received his B.Sc. as the second ranked student in Mechanical Engineering from Shiraz University, Iran, in 1991, his M.Sc. as the top student in Applied Mathematics from Manchester University, U.K., in 1994, and his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University, Canada. He completed a two-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of New Brunswick, where he was also hired as a sessional lecturer. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the German Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship at experienced levels, the German DFG grant, and the 1st poster prize at MITACS Atlantic International, Halifax, NS, Canada. His research interests lie in fluid mechanics, including shock waves and compressible flows, PEM fuel cell flow field designs, steam turbines, drag reduction techniques in aeronautics, and the application of metal foams for PEM fuel cells. He has authored or co-authored more than 150 technical papers and holds two approved patents. He currently serves as an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Centre for Solar Energy and Hydrogen Research (ZSW) in Ulm, Germany. |
